Happy New Year!
Following our return to live events in May 2021, The Team at Under The Posts are happy to have completed and rescheduled all postponed events and are looking forward many fresh and exciting events over 2022- many already selling out.
The Year kicks off with the Six Nations and we have the legendary Bill Beaumont on 14th January to start our calendar. Followed by lunches joined by Martin Johnson, Nigel Owens & Mike Tindall to chat match predictions as well as their own tour stories.
On March 18th– one day ahead of Round 5 of the Six Nations- Back by popular demand, join us with a table of 10 at Smith & Wollensky, The Adelphi, with the legendary All Black Sean Fitzpatrick as he talks all things rugby.
We also have a series of 97’ Lunches celebrating the historic tour to South Africa in 1997 beginning on 20th May with John Taylor , Head Coach Sir Ian McGeechan and tour captain Martin Johnson, 10th June –Jim Telfer, tour captain Martin Johnson and Scott Gibbs, 17th June –Fran Cotton and Jason Leonard, 24th June– Neil Back, Paul Wallace and Tim Stimpson & finishing with 8th July– Tour captain Martin Johnson, Jeremy Guscott and Tim Stimpson.
And finally if that wasn’t enough rugby to get your teeth into, Join us for dinner on 17th November 2022 at our Annual extravaganza for the Lewis Moody Foundation at the fantastic Tower Hotel overlooking the Thames. This year is “The Ultimate Back row legends” Lewis has already had confirmations of attendance from: Peter Winterbottom, Micky Skinner, Mike Teague, Martin Corry, Neil Back, Joe Worsley, Tom Croft, Chris Robshaw, Andy Robinson, Nick Easter, Tim Rodber, Dean Richards, Roger Uttley. Tony Neary and more. Sparkling drinks reception, table of 10 with 3 course dinner & ½ bottle of wine per person and an evening to remember.
If Rugby isn’t your thing, we also have a range of events this year starting on 23rd March with the Legendary boxer Frank Bruno, Jim Carter & Downton Abbey Friends Evening on 3rd March 2021, Haircut 100’s Nick Heyward Live- 9th March, Paul Roberts (ex Stranglers) sings Bowie – 7th July, & the legendary Ratpack sing us into the night on 16th June.
Chelsea Legends Lunch, joined by Chopper Harris, Gary Chivers & others. – 25th March 2022 & The Lewis Moody Foundation Golf Day on Friday 13th May 2022 at the prestigious Edgbaston Golf Club.
